This page is dedicated to Lenovo's ThinkVantage (TVT) design and technology features, built into Lenovo ThinkCentre (desktop/tower) and ThinkPad (notebook) product ranges.

Lenovo is the world's greatest innovator in the computer industry, with a massive 3,248 US patents in 2004, and outright technology leader for the 12th successive year. This technology leadership is reflected in the ThinkVantage technologies embodied in its PC product line, nearly all of which are provided without charge.

The table shows how Lenovo innovative ThinkVantage technologies relate to the lifecycle of a typical PC. Lenovo's value proposition is underpinned by research, identifying areas for potential savings for your organisation.

When it comes to wireless , Lenovo offers patented UltraConnect™ technology to include dual antenna for optimal signal reception, Bluetooth and support for IEEE 802.11a and 802.11b wireless technologies. Additionally, Lenovo's Embedded Security Subsystem provides the securest wireless computing experience available.

In some cases, competitors do offer similar functionality, but at a cost, and often to a third party rather than the manufacturer. Whilst many customers base their purchasing decisions on price alone, the Lenovo value proposition is that through giving customers productivity benefits within the purchase price of the product, the total cost of ownership for Lenovo Personal Computers is significantly lower.
