
CVSI
is authorised and certified to carry out repairs on IBM and Lenovo equipment
throughout the product's warranty period.
Warranties can vary from product to product so that, for example, for those warranties providing an on-site response CVSI, will despatch a qualified service engineer to site; alternatively, if the warranty is based upon a customer carry-in to the repair centre, then equipment may be brought to our workshops for repair.
The costs of warranty repairs are borne by IBM, and repairs are therefore provided without charge to the customer.
For IBM and Lenovo equipment out of manufacturer's warranty, CVSI will undertake repairs under normal commercial arrangements.
The following aide-memoires summarise the standard warranty offerings in each product area, and include information required when placing a service call for IBM or Lenovo equipment. (Note: Customers unsure about actual warranty expiry dates are welcome to contact our office, and we will check online).
