In 2004, a new player in the PC market emerged, Lenovo, created through the acquisition if IBMs Personal Computing Division by the Chinese manufacture Legend, and immediately becoming the world's 3rd largest PC manufacturer. Lenovo offers innovation to set its desktop and laptop products apart from the competition, and another key differentiator is that CVSI is authorised by Lenovo to carry out warranty repairs in its own workshops, thus providing a complete support package to users.
Consistent with our philosophy of supporting products from leading manufacturers, CVSI offers complementary storage products, including tape backup solutions, as well as disk based subsystems too meet the storage needs of SANs, NAS, etc.
Printing solutions are offered and supported for IBM, Lexmark and Hewlett Packard, all of which are backed by a full installation service if required.
Network infrastructure requirements are met by Cisco routers, switches and firewalls.

Nowadays, for companies reliant upon Information Technology, system failure can mean loss of revenue, and that usually means losing profit and having staff sitting around. There is no simple answer to this, and we invite customers to call and discuss their individual requirements, from which we can recommend a traditional Disaster Recovery (DR) solution or, if time really does mean money, a High Availability (HA) solution. CVSI offers the flexibility of presenting solutions based upon in-house solutions or a fully Managed Service, both of which can be accommodated from CVSIs Recovery Centre. Our focus remains on the IBM midrange market, serving iSeries (OS/400) and xSeries (Microsoft Windows) environments.
CVSI also offers remote support services using secure Virtual Private Network (VPN) communications, allowing us to measure response times in minutes rather than hours. It's a very simple, effective way of increasing productivity for everybody, and the basis of support for those customers wishing to outsource their IT support function.
